This engine recreation project (FS32, FutureShock32) has the goal of resurrecting the games: The Terminator: Future Shock and The Terminator: SkyNET.
As a win32 port of the game - together with the user provided original DOS version - allows you to play the games without DOS emulator on modern hardware. Even enhancing the original playing experience with addiotional content and features.
FutureShock32 is a modern remaster initiative of the 1996 PC game The Terminator: Future Shock and The Terminator: SkyNET, originally developed by Bethesda Softworks.
The project is designed for owners of the original DOS version.
It features a playable Windows build with improved graphics, co-op missions, and a built-in level editor (WIP).
Authentic gameplay preservation
Modern compatibility (Windows)
Added cooperative multiplayer mode
Extra content and tools for replayability and game lifetime extension
The goal is to obtain official licensing and evolve FutureShock32 into a fully sanctioned, professional remaster available to a wider audience.
These visuals represent a technical proof-of-concept developed for research and preservation purposes only.
The final release will depend on obtaining full IP licensing approval.
